Job summary

Lineage Logistics is seeking a forklift operator to manage palletized goods in our cold and dry storage facilities. You will use RF systems to record weights, counts, and item condition while placing and retrieving loads from racks. Daily maintenance and battery upkeep are required.

The role requires lifting up to 40 lbs, flexible scheduling including weekends, and adherence to safety protocols in varied temperatures.

Qualifications

• Basic math skills.
• Ability to understand and follow instructions in English.
• Ability to work in temperatures as low as -20°F (-25°C) in cold storage or up to 100°F (37°C) in dry storage.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs (18 kg).
• Flexible work schedule, including weekends if needed.

Responsibilities

• Put away palletized units by lifting forks for placement into racks above floor height.
• Pick palletized units out of rack locations above floor height and prepare for outbound shipment.
• Record materials, weight, counts, and condition via RF system.
• Load and unload materials on/off pallets, skids, or lifting devices.
• Complete daily forklift maintenance/check sheets.
• Monitor and charge batteries, maintain equipment, and keep charging stations clean.
