Job summary

Lineage Logistics is seeking a stand-up reach forklift operator in Kentucky to move products and materials while following safety standards and company policies. You will place and retrieve palletized units, document weights and counts, and ensure equipment is properly maintained.

This role requires the ability to lift 40 lbs, work flexible shifts including weekends, and operate in temperature-controlled environments. Growth opportunities exist as you learn Lineage’s operations and systems.

Qualifications

• Basic math skills.
• Ability to understand instructions in English.
• Able to work in temperatures as low as -20 Fahrenheit/-25 Celsius in cold storage or up to 100 Fahrenheit/37 Celsius in dry storage while wearing PPE.

Responsibilities

• Operate stand‑up reach forklift to move products and materials.
• Put away palletized units by lifting forks for rack placement.
• Pick palletized units from racks for outbound shipment.
• Record materials, weight, counts, and conditions via RF system.
• Load and unload materials on pallets, skids, or lifting devices.
• Complete daily forklift maintenance/check sheets.
• Monitor and maintain battery charge and charging station.

Job description

Use stand‑up reach forklift to move products, equipment, and materials while following all regulatory and company safety standards, policies, and procedures.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Put away palletized units by lifting forks for placement into racks above floor height
• Pick palletized units out of rack locations above floor height and set up for outbound shipment
• Choose and record materials, weight, counts, and condition of food items via Radio Frequency (RF) system
• Load and unload materials on and off pallets, skids, or lifting device
• Complete daily forklift maintenance/check sheet
• Monitor battery charge, maintain, and clean batteries, and leave material handling equipment at the proper charging station

ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Work with other machinery and material handling equipment

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES)

• Basic math skills
• Ability to understand instructions in Country's official language or as defined by Lineage Logistics
• Ability to work in temperatures as low as -20 Fahrenheit/-25 Celsius in cold storage sites or up to 100 Fahrenheit/37 Celsius in dry storage sites while wearing company provided personal protective equipment and freezer gear
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs./18 kgs.; weight may be more dependent upon facility
• Ability to work a flexible work schedule and shift, including weekends if needed
• Must be comfortable with various noise levels, at times, can be loud
