Job summary

Lineage Logistics is seeking a 2nd shift forklift operator for a freezer warehouse in Kentucky. Use a stand-up reach forklift to move products, follow all safety standards, and perform routine maintenance while ensuring RF records are accurate.

The job requires experience with high-reach forklifts, the ability to lift 40 lbs, and flexibility to work weekends. Compensation includes base pay plus a $1.50 shift differential, with a listed pay range of $19.18–$32.40 per hour.

Qualifications

• Basic math skills required for daily tasks.
• Ability to follow instructions in the country’s official language as defined by Lineage Logistics.
• Capable of working in cold (-20 F/-25 C) and dry storage (up to 100 F/37 C) environments with safety gear.
• Must lift at least 40 lbs / 18 kg; physical work is required.
• Flexible work schedule including weekends when needed.

Responsibilities

• Put away palletized units by lifting forks for placement into racks above floor height.
• Pick palletized units out of rack locations above floor height and set up for outbound shipment.
• Record materials, weight, counts, and condition using RF system.
• Load and unload materials on/off pallets, skids, or lifting device.
• Complete daily forklift maintenance/check sheet.
• Monitor battery charge, maintain and clean batteries, and park equipment properly.

Shift Details

2nd Shift: Monday-Friday 2pm-10:30pm Base Pay $23 Shift Differential $1.50 High Reach forklift experience required.

Freezer Warehouse

Use stand-up reach forklift to move products, equipment, and materials while following all regulatory and company safety standards, policies, and procedures.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Put away palletized units by lifting forks for placement into racks above floor height


• Pick palletized units out of rack locations above floor height and set up for outbound shipment


• Choose and record materials, weight, counts, and condition of food items via Radio Frequency (RF) system


• Load and unload materials on and off pallets, skids, or lifting device


• Complete daily forklift maintenance/check sheet


• Monitor battery charge, maintain, and clean batteries, and leave material handling equipment at the proper charging station

Additional Duties and Responsibilities

• Work with other machinery and material handling equipment

Minimum Requirements (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities)

• Ability to understand instructions in Country's official language or as defined by Lineage Logistics


• Ability to work in temperatures as low as -20 Fahrenheit/-25 Celsius in cold storage sites or up to 100 Fahrenheit/37 Celsius in dry storage sites while wearing company provided personal protective equipment and freezer gear


• Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs./18 kgs.; weight may be more dependent upon facility


• Ability to work a flexible work schedule and shift, including weekends if needed


• Must be comfortable with various noise levels, at times, can be loud

Pay Range: $19.18 - $32.40
