Job summary

Kelly is hiring for a Stand-Up Forklift & Reach Truck Operator in Kentucky. The role involves operating stand-up forklifts, loading/unloading, and putting away palletized units in high racks, with RF system logging and daily maintenance.

Shifts include 1st and 2nd with hourly rates of $20 and $21 and mandatory overtime. Safety boots and ability to lift 75 lbs are required. Orientation starts on the first day for all shifts at 8:00 AM.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience operating stand-up forklifts or reach trucks.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Must wear steel or composite safety boots.

Responsibilities

• Operate stand-up forklifts to move products and materials.
• Work in cold environments (-5°F to 36°F).
• Complete daily forklift maintenance/check sheets.
• Put away palletized units in 4–5 high racks.
• Pick and stage palletized units for outbound shipment.
• Record material, weight, counts, and item condition using RF system.
• Load/unload material onto/from pallets, skids, or lifting devices.
• Recharge, maintain, and clean forklift batteries.
• Attend orientation; all shifts start 8:00 AM.

Shift Details

• 1st Shift: 7:00am – 3:30pm ($20.00/hr) with mandatory overtime
• 2nd Shift: 3:30pm – Midnight ($21.00/hr) with mandatory overtime
• Weekly start dates!

Responsibilities

• Operate stand-up reach forklifts to move products, equipment, and materials
• Work in extreme cold: temperatures range from -5°F to 36°F
• Complete daily forklift maintenance/check sheets
• Put away palletized units in 4-5 high racks
• Pick and stage palletized units for outbound shipment
• Record material, weight, counts, and condition of food items using RF system
• Load and unload material onto/off pallets, skids, or lifting devices
• Recharge, maintain, and clean forklift batteries
• Must attend a mandatory orientation: ALL SHIFTS START FIRST DAY AT 8:00AM

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years’ experience operating stand-up forklifts or reach trucks (at least 1 year’s experience in the past year)
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Strong ability to work independently and safely
• Must wear steel or composite safety boots
