Job summary

Prestige Auto Tech in Kendall, FL is hiring an experienced Automotive Technician for a busy shop with strong earning potential. Earn $40–$60 per flagged hour, with a Monday–Friday schedule and no weekends.

We welcome applicants who can diagnose, repair, and service domestic, Asian, and European vehicles. Digital Vehicle Inspections (DVI) are used, and tools & instruments are essential—ASE certification is a plus and a valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

3+ years of professional automotive technician or auto mechanic experience.
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
Experience in a busy auto repair shop.
Must own professional automotive tools.
A valid driver's license.
ASE certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair domestic, Asian, and European vehicles.
Perform automotive diagnostics and troubleshooting.
Perform mechanical and electrical repairs.
Diagnose engine, transmission, suspension, steering, brake, cooling, and drivability concerns.
Perform preventive maintenance and factory-recommended services.
Complete Digital Vehicle Inspections (DVI).
Accurately identify vehicle repair needs.
Communicate findings with the Service Advisor.
Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
