Responsibilities

Prestige Auto Tech is hiring an experienced Automotive Technician for our Kendall, Florida location.

$40–$60 PER FLAGGED HOUR

Earn $40–$60 per flagged hour, based on experience, diagnostic ability, and skill level.

Automotive Technician Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair domestic, Asian, and European vehicles.
• Perform automotive diagnostics and troubleshooting.
• Perform mechanical and electrical repairs.
• Diagnose engine, transmission, suspension, steering, brake, cooling, and drivability concerns.
• Perform preventive maintenance and factory-recommended services.
• Complete Digital Vehicle Inspections (DVI).
• Accurately identify vehicle repair needs.
• Communicate findings with the Service Advisor.
• Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.

European Automotive Experience Is a Plus

We are an independent automotive repair company with extensive experience servicing European cars and luxury vehicles.

Experience with:

• BMW Technician / BMW Mechanic
• Mercedes-Benz Technician / Mercedes Mechanic
• Audi Technician / Audi Mechanic
• Volkswagen Technician / VW Mechanic
• Porsche Technician
• Land Rover Technician
• MINI Technician
• Volvo Technician

Experience with European vehicle diagnostics, electrical diagnostics, drivability diagnostics, and advanced scan tools is highly valued.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional automotive technician or auto mechanic experience preferred.
• Strong automotive diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience working in a busy auto repair shop.
• Ability to diagnose problems and complete quality repairs.
• European vehicle experience preferred.
• Experience with advanced diagnostic equipment and scan tools preferred.
• Must own professional automotive tools.
• Valid driver's license.
• ASE certification is a plus.
