Learn CPR Brooklyn seeks a CPR Instructor for a flexible side-gig in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn. The role targets active healthcare workers, EMTs, paramedics, nursing or medical students who can teach CPR and First Aid to adults in small groups.

Initial pay starts at $29.00/hr during a brief observation/training period, increasing to $40.00 per class upon completion, with a roughly 3 hours weekly commitment including Sundays.

Qualifications

• Active healthcare worker, EMT, paramedic, nursing/medical student or clinical healthcare worker.
• Must hold a valid, active CPR certification (AHA, Red Cross, or equivalent).
• Sunday availability for Bed-Stuy classes (Brooklyn, NY 11206).
• Strong communication skills for teaching small groups (10–15 learners).
• Reliable commute to Brooklyn, NY 11206.

Responsibilities

• Lead small-group CPR, AED and First Aid training for 10–15 adults.
• Complete a paid 3-hour observation period to learn the flow of live classes.
• Create a supportive environment for adult learners to master emergency skills.
• Maintain equipment and ensure course guidelines are followed.
