Job summary

Automation Personnel Services is seeking a High-Lift Box Truck Operator in Nashville, Tennessee. This role supports an airline food service company by safely transporting meals between airport facilities and aircraft on the tarmac.

You will ensure timely deliveries while complying with airport safety standards. The position is full-time, direct hire with shift hours from 11:00 am to 7:30 pm, Monday through Friday and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Must pass a DOT physical and drug screening.
• Must pass company and federal airport background checks.
• Strong understanding of safe driving practices.
• Ability to use navigation tools such as GPS systems and mobile apps.
• Able to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Must work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload delivery vehicles with goods and service carts.
• Safely operate high-lift vehicles to and from aircraft positions on the tarmac.
• Position vehicles at aircraft and secure work platforms.
• Communicate with Customer Service, Flight Attendants, and Airport Operations to resolve issues.
• Maintain cleanliness and readiness of assigned vehicles.

High-Lift Box Truck Operator

Automation Personnel Services is looking for High-Lift Box Truck Operators for a major airline food service company based in Nashville, TN. They will be responsible for safely prepared meals between airport facilities and aircraft on the tarmac. This role ensures timely and accurate deliveries that support daily flight operations while maintaining strict compliance with airport and company safety standards.

Pay Rate $22.00 per hour

Monday to Friday and weekend shifts required

11 00 am to 7 30 pm

High-Lift Box Truck Operators Duties and Responsibilities

• Load and unload delivery vehicles with goods, supplies, and service carts
• Safely operate and maneuver high-lift vehicles to and from aircraft positions on the tarmac
• Position vehicles accurately at aircraft, secure work platforms, and follow all loading and unloading protocols
• Communicate effectively with Customer Service, Flight Attendants, and Airport Operations personnel to resolve issues and ensure smooth deliveries
• Maintain cleanliness and operational readiness of assigned vehicles
