Job summary

The General Manager at the Sterling, VA site will lead the management and associate team to execute PMG values, achieve financial goals, and ensure top-notch operations for a high-volume 7-Eleven and gas station location.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; Bachelor's in Business preferred.
• Experience leading and building a highly effective team.
• Experience selecting, training, and performance managing staff.
• Availability to work all shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Reliable transportation.
• Excellent leadership and customer service skills.
• Ability to coach and develop a team.
• Self-motivated with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a pleasant shopping experience for all customers.
• Resolve customer and associate concerns effectively.
• Execute PMG Sales Strategy to maximize sales-building efforts.
• Analyze income statements and reports to ensure profitability.
• Supervise daily tasks and performance for all staff.
• Manage daily paperwork, cash, lottery, shrink, spoilage, and waste processes.
• Plan Labor and Team Schedules.
• Operate with integrity and respect.
• Build relationships with community partners.
• Analyze trends and set action plans for store challenges.
• Monitor local competition and communicate findings to Store Ops.
• Ensure compliance with PMG, 7-Eleven, and Branded Mobil audits.
