Job summary

Turner Mining Group is a leading contract mining partner in North America, and a Production Miner is needed to sit in the cab of heavy equipment and help hit tons-per-hour targets while ensuring safety and reliability.

You will work on surface mines and quarries, performing inspections, coordinating with maintenance, and following safety protocols to minimize downtime and maintain efficient production. This role involves rotating shifts and exposure to all weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Experience operating excavators, haul trucks, and loaders in a production setting.
• MSHA Part 46 or 48 certification and a clean safety record.
• Proven track record of meeting daily production targets while protecting people and equipment.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts, weekends, and varying weather.
• Mechanical aptitude for basic daily maintenance and issue communication.

Responsibilities

• Operate excavators, haul trucks, loaders, and drills to meet production quotas.
• Execute drilling, blasting, loading, and hauling sequences to deliver target volumes.
• Complete pre- and post-shift inspections and report defects.
• Follow MSHA and site safety protocols to maintain zero incidents.
• Collaborate with supervisors and maintenance to improve processes.
• Support reclamation and overburden placement for future mining readiness.
