Job summary

Jobot is seeking a results-driven project leader to oversee commercial construction projects in the Bay Area with strong emphasis on MEP systems. You will own schedules, costs, and teams in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, with a salary range of $140,000–$180,000 per year and full benefits including 401(k) and gym subsidy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of commercial construction experience.
• Proficient in MS Project/Primavera, estimating software, and accounting systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage full project lifecycle for commercial construction projects in the Bay Area, including schedules and stakeholder communication.
• Lead pre-construction activities: site walks, RFPs, bid tabulations, quantity take-offs, and constructability reviews.
• Oversee cost control: change orders, owner billings, invoices, and financial close-out.
• Maintain document control: RFIs, submittals, change orders, and master drawings.
• Develop and monitor master and 3-week rolling schedules; identify impacts and solutions.
• Lead weekly subcontractor and OAC meetings; distribute minutes.
• Mentor project teams and ensure safe, high-quality delivery; review submittals and MEP coordination.
• Coordinate with estimating on budgets, bids, and value engineering.
