Job summary

A healthcare provider in Austin is seeking an ER Physician to deliver high-quality emergency medical care. You'll be involved in diagnosing patients, administering urgent treatment, and stabilizing patients before further care. Candidates must have an active Texas State Licensure and experience in emergency medicine. This position offers competitive compensation of $205/hr and a full-time role averaging 144 hours/month.

Qualifications

• One year of Emergency Medicine or an Emergency Medicine Residency is required.
• PALS/ACLS/ATLS certification (BLS preferred) is necessary.
• Experience in a free-standing emergency department or urgent care setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Immediate evaluation and diagnosis of patients upon arrival.
• Administer urgent medical treatments, including necessary procedures.
• Stabilize patients before further treatment or transfer.
• Collaborate closely with nurses, paramedics, and specialists.
• Interpret diagnostic tests and develop treatment plans.
• Communicate effectively with patients and families regarding diagnoses and plans.

Skills

Excellent written and oral communication skills

Ability to work quickly in high-stress environments

Deep knowledge of current medical practices, procedures, and equipment

Experience managing multiple clinical sites

Education

Medical degree from an accredited institution

Active Texas State Licensure

Completed Residency in any Specialty
