Job summary

Czinger is seeking an Automotive Visualization Designer to join a small, collaborative design team. You will create high-quality visuals, manage complex 3D vehicle data, and ensure Alias data flows smoothly into VRED workflows while maintaining design intent.

The role requires strong 3D visualization and technical aptitude, with hands-on work across Alias, VRED, and PLM data. You will support CMF, design, sales, and marketing with compelling visuals and customer specifications.

Qualifications

• Portfolio showing advanced automotive visualization and 3D rendering.
• Proficiency in Autodesk VRED with scene prep, materials, lighting, rendering, animation.
• Working knowledge of Autodesk Alias in an automotive design context.
• Interoperability between Autodesk Alias and VRED.
• Ability to manage Alias surface data within VRED while preserving geometry.
• Understanding Alias surfaces, layers, assemblies, shaders and data-export workflows.
• Strong technical aptitude for complex 3D data and workflows.
• Knowledge of 3D geometry preparation, scene organization, materials, lighting, cameras.
• Strong eye for proportion, aesthetics, color, materials.
• Comfort working with CAD-derived data and large assemblies.
• Willingness to learn Teamcenter or PLM systems.
• Ability to balance creative quality with deadlines and changing requirements.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Clear communication across Design, Engineering, CMF, Sales, and Marketing.
• Proactive, flexible, hands-on approach in a small team.

Responsibilities

• Create high-quality stills, animations, presentations, and real-time visualizations for automotive design and marketing.
• Prepare, optimize, and manage complex 3D vehicle data for VRED and other platforms.
• Import, organize, update, and troubleshoot Alias data within VRED.
• Maintain interoperability between Alias and VRED including geometry transfer and materials.
• Collaborate with designers to reflect latest design surfaces in visuals.
• Translate technical requirements into compelling visual content across teams.
• Develop bespoke vehicle specifications, colors, liveries, and finishes.
• Produce accurate visual representations for design approval and customer presentations.
• Contribute design input while preserving brand identity and visual quality.
• Support CMF and design teams with material visualization and finish studies.
• Develop liveries and graphics with Design, Sales, Marketing, and customers.
• Bridge design and engineering data with visualization workflows.
• Access data via PLM (Teamcenter or similar).
• Retrieve, organize, convert, and post-process design data for visuals.
• Keep datasets up to date with design/engineering releases.
• Resolve geometry, tessellation, material, hierarchy, naming, and data quality issues.
• Improve workflows for importing and preparing data from Alias/Teamcenter.
• Innovate visualization techniques for reviews and presentations.
• Support development of visualization tools, asset libraries, and standards.
• Contribute to other design/visualization tasks in a fast-moving team.
