High Energy Laser Systems Technician

Our HEL programs support the U.S. Department of Defense in developing, integrating, testing, producing, and fielding cutting-edge laser weapon systems that enhance national security and deliver decisive battlefield advantages. These efforts require highly skilled technicians to support assembly, integration, production, testing, maintenance, and operational deployment of complex laser systems and their associated power and thermal management subsystems.
The High Energy Laser Systems Technician will play a critical role in the assembly, integration, production, testing, troubleshooting, and field support of advanced HEL weapon systems. This hands-on position supports the development and deployment of laser technologies by working directly with laser hardware, power distribution equipment, thermal management systems, electrical and mechanical assemblies, instrumentation, and supporting subsystems.
The technician will collaborate closely with engineers, production personnel, test teams, and program leadership to ensure HEL systems are built, integrated, tested, maintained, and fielded safely and effectively. This position requires strong technical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to support laboratory, manufacturing, and field operations.
