Job summary

Alpha is seeking an Early Childhood Coach to lead one K–3 cohort, delivering hands-on life-skills workshops and driving progress in adaptive learning apps. You’ll energize a group of 10–15 students, coach behavior, and ensure mastery with Coachbot analytics and clear targets.

This is a high-accountability role with 2x progress per semester, 90%+ student satisfaction, and demonstrated life-skill mastery through Test2Pass; on-site in Dorado, Puerto Rico, with a competitive $100,000/year salary.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in any field.
• Fluent English to speak clearly with students and families throughout the school day.
• At least intermediate Spanish proficiency to manage behavior, give directions, and communicate with families.
• 3+ years of experience working with children ages 4–9 in high‑energy, high‑engagement settings (classroom, camp, coaching, or afterschool programs).
• Experience actively managing and engaging groups of 10–15+ young children (not supervision‑only).
• Legal authorization to work in Puerto Rico without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Run one‑hour, hands‑on life skills workshops using storytelling, pacing, and active practice so students can pass Test2Pass.
• Use Coachbot analytics to spot blockers early, set daily and weekly targets, and keep every student on pace in adaptive learning apps.
• Lead group check‑ins that reinforce goals, celebrate wins, and surface problems before they turn into missed targets.
• Apply motivation systems (school currency, leaderboards, incentives) to drive visible behavior change in focus, persistence, and output.
• Intervene immediately when students are stuck or off‑task, coaching problem‑solving and self‑correction in the moment.
