Job summary

Orangetheory Fitness in Chapel Hill, NC, is seeking a part-time Coach to deliver high-energy, science-based group workouts and create an engaging member experience. The role requires guiding sessions, maintaining equipment, and supporting sales and retention efforts.

You will work with a welcoming team to foster member engagement, ensuring safety and quality across classes while upholding Orangetheory standards and brand values. Training and Saturday coverage may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of group fitness training or personal training experience required.
• Current Orangetheory Fitness approved fitness certification required (e.g., NASM, ACE, ACSM, NSCA, or equivalent).
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in customer service, sales, hospitality, or a related client-facing role preferred (0–1 year).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and motivate diverse members.

Responsibilities

• Deliver an engaging, high-energy group workout experience for all members each class session.
• Provide a welcoming, inclusive, and motivating experience reflecting brand standards.
• Accurately complete and maintain member documentation and records.
• Participate in team meetings, trainings, and professional development.
• Conduct studio tours and communicate membership options clearly.
• Support achievement of individual and team sales goals through outreach and follow-ups.
• Build relationships within the local community to increase brand awareness and generate opportunities.
• Maintain a clean, organized studio environment in alignment with standards.
