Job summary

Live Nation Entertainment in California is seeking an experienced bartender to join a fast-paced, high-volume venue team. You will deliver beverages and meals with accuracy, maintain safety standards, and provide friendly, professional guest service throughout shifts.

You will read and follow recipes, perform pour tests and mixology drills, manage cash and POS transactions, and collaborate with bar staff to ensure smooth operations during events and concerts.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift or move up to 25 lbs using proper lifting techniques.
• Ability to work late hours and maintain flexible schedule.
• Cash handling experience.
• Excellent interpersonal communication and teamwork.
• Pass a pour test and a mixology drill.
• Ability to manage intoxicated guests safely.
• Tolerance of all cultures, music, and art forms.
• Responsible Alcohol Awareness Training Certification or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Interact with guests in a natural, friendly demeanor.
• Cultivate regular guests and repeat business.
• Complete a pour test prior to every shift where applicable.
• Suggestively sell beverages and menu items to guests at the bar.
• Deliver food items and beverage orders promptly.
• Prioritize and organize drink orders.
• Record any equipment failure and/or safety hazards in bar log.
• Ensure responsible alcohol service per policy and local ordinances.
• Request proper identification for anyone under 30 years of age.
• Maintain company safety and sanitation standards.
• Perform Opening/Running/Closing duties according to policy.
• Prepare guest checks and process payments.
• Maintain bartender bank and cash pull procedures.
• Perform cash pull / check out procedures.
• Maintain appropriate Comp and Spill checks.
• Occasionally work Special Events as scheduled.
