Kravet in North Carolina is seeking a Product Development Assistant to help bring new upholstered furniture concepts from idea to finished product. You will leverage strong design sense, crafting knowledge, and CAD skills to assist in pattern making, cutting layouts, and specifications.

Qualifications

• Must have 3–5 years of experience with high-end upholstered furniture pattern making.
• Must have 3–5 years of experience with AutoCAD.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

The Product Development Assistant will be responsible for assisting in the development of new products from concept to creation. To be successful in this role, you must have a strong sense of design and crafting knowledge/understanding. In addition, drive, detail orientation, flexibility are also key attributes to consider when stepping into this role.

Abilities/Key Competencies/Skills:

• Must be able to work thoughtfully and thoroughly with continuous attention to detail
• Must be able to read and interpret CAD drawings.
• The ability to stand, walk, stoop, and bend for up to eight hours or more daily
• Ability to learn quickly and retain a wide range of small details concerning multiple product types, tasks, system processes, issues, and/or projects
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Comfortable multi-tasking, or, pivoting between tasks as the need arises

Experience/Certifications/Education:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must have 3 - 5 years of experience with High-end Upholstered Furniture Pattern making.
• Must have 3 - 5 years of experience with AutoCAD.
