ARC Health Partners is seeking Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners (PMHNP) for current or upcoming opportunities across our partner practices. Opportunities include in-person, hybrid, or remote work within applicable states.

PMHNPs provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and collaborative care in outpatient settings. Requirements include PMHNP-BC, valid APRN and DEA licenses, 1 year post-certification outpatient experience, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Board certification as PMHNP-BC is required.
• Valid, unrestricted APRN license in the practicing state.
• Valid RN license in the practicing state.
• DEA number and any required prescriptive licenses.
• Minimum 1 year post-certification outpatient experience.
• Ability to work independently and in a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Maintain professional liability insurance.
• Comply with prescription drug monitoring regulations.

Responsabilités

• Conduct psychiatric assessments and diagnoses.
• Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications.
• Monitor treatment response and adjust care plans.
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with therapists and other providers as part of an integrated care model.
• May perform TMS cortical mappings (site dependent).
• May oversee staff technicians who perform daily TMS.

Employment Type: W-2 Full-Time, W-2 Part-Time, or 1099 opportunities available (varies by practice)

Schedule: Varies by practice (some opportunities may include evenings/weekends)

Location: In-person, hybrid, or remote within applicable states.

Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners (PMHNP) at our partner practices provide high-quality comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, TMS services (if applicable), and ongoing treatment in an outpatient setting, working within a collaborative, patient-centered care model. Success in this role is demonstrated through safe prescribing practices, strong patient engagement, and close collaboration with therapy and interdisciplinary clinical teams.

PMHNP Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric assessments and diagnoses
• Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications

• Site/Partner Practice dependent, PMHNPs may perform TMS cortical mappings
• Site/Partner Practice dependent, PMHNPs may oversee staff technicians who perform daily TMS treatments

Requirements

• Board certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC)
• Possess and maintain a valid and unrestricted Advanced Practice Registered Nurse License pursuant to the laws of the state where healthcare services are provided
• Possess and maintain a valid and unrestricted license(s) to practice nursing pursuant to the laws of the State where healthcare services are provided
• Possess and maintain a valid Drug Enforcement Administration (“DEA”) number and all other licenses and certificates that may be lawfully required to prescribe medications, including controlled substances;
• Minimum of 1 year of post-certification experience, outpatient preferred
• Ability to function well independently, as well as a member of a multidisciplinary team, ability to work productively and effectively.
• Possess good communication and interpersonal skills, as well as thorough knowledge about the various medical processes and procedures
• Possess and maintain adequate/required Professional Liability Insurance policy
• Comply with prescription drug monitoring program regulations

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience treating diverse age groups
• Comfort with telepsychiatry
• Knowledge of evidence-based medication protocols
