APR LLC dba New England Truck Center is seeking an experienced Heavy-Duty Tow Driver in Exeter, NH. The role involves operating heavy-duty wreckers, rollbacks, and recovery vehicles with GVWR over 26,000 lbs, responding to towing and roadside calls, and working with Dispatch to provide safe, professional service.

This full-time position offers a competitive hourly rate ($33–$37) plus commission, standard 40-hour weeks, and strong earning potential up to $135,000 per year.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL-A license
• Doubles/Triples endorsement
• No Automatic Transmission restriction
• Current DOT Medical Card
• Clean driving record
• Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience
• Ability to safely operate heavy-duty vehicles
• Strong communication and customer-service skills
• Ability to work independently while being a reliable team member
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work weekends, on-call rotations, and holidays as needed
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic mechanical knowledge and ability to use common tools

Responsibilities

• Provide heavy-duty towing, recovery, transport, and roadside assistance safely and efficiently.
• Complete scheduled towing, transport, pickup, and delivery assignments.
• Respond to customer concerns calmly and professionally, with a solutions-first approach.
• Coordinate with Dispatch to plan calls, routes, timing, and job requirements.
• Perform required DOT pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Maintain accurate driver logs, trip sheets, and weekly documentation.
• Navigate using GPS, maps, or written instructions; follow DOT regulations.
• Follow incident procedures when necessary and protect company assets.
• Complete dispatch and administrative paperwork accurately and on time.
