Dental Hygienist Job Responsibilities

• Promote dental health through procedures like prophylaxis, oral cancer screening, radiographs, and charting
• Prepare patients for treatment by welcoming and seating them
• Answer questions and provide information to patients and staff
• Maintain and sterilize instruments
• Evaluate patients' oral health to select appropriate materials and equipment
• Perform dental prophylaxis and detect disease via screenings and radiographs
