Job summary

Lithia Chrysler Jeep Dodge of Klamath Falls is hiring a Main Line Technician. This role offers a flat rate pay scale with earning potential of $60,000–$100,000/year depending on experience.

Open availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays supports dealership operations during peak periods. You will diagnose malfunctions, repair vehicles per Lithia and manufacturer standards, road-test to verify quality, and document work.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience as an Automotive Service Technician required.
• Ability to diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicles efficiently while delivering quality expertise.
• Operate a wide variety of cars, trucks and vans with the ability to drive both manual and automatic transmissions.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to safety and quality repairs.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose cause of malfunction.
• Complete all work according to the applicable safety requirements.
• Road-test vehicles to ensure quality of repair work.
• Accurately record time spent on repairs utilizing company time clocking procedures.
• Document work performed on repair order and document test procedures/results.
• Responsible for providing and maintaining an inventory of normal mechanics tools.
• Maintain an organized and clean workspace, completing a stall cleaning every day.
• Acquire and maintain manufacturer and ASE certifications by completing the necessary and required training.
