Job summary

42 North Dental in Portland, ME, is seeking a dentist to lead comprehensive patient care at a modern, patient-centered practice. You will manage the full clinical patient experience, from exam and treatment planning to delivery of care, including in-office periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

The clinic offers a strong earning potential with production-based compensation, flexible full- or part-time schedules, and a supportive team of doctors.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA‑accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Vaccination against Hepatitis B is required.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create and review treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
• Maintain high standards of ethics and professionalism.
