Job summary

Kindly Direct Care is seeking a DSP to provide hands-on personal care for a moderately independent individual in Bellmawr, NJ. The caregiver will assist with daily routines, safety, and companionship, working Mon-Fri in the early evening hours.

Applicants should have prior DSP/HHA/CNA/PCA experience, be reliable and safety-minded, and able to follow detailed instructions and boundaries. Onboarding training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Assist a moderately independent individual who is hospital bed- and wheelchair-bound.
• Provide one-to-one supervision, companionship, and safety support.
• Assist with community participation, errands, appointments, and meaningful activities as applicable.
• Follow individualized care, behavioral, medical, and safety instructions within DSP scope and training.
• Observe for and promptly report changes or concerns.
• Complete required service documentation, timekeeping, and communication accurately and on time.

About This Opportunity

The individual needs a DSP who is comfortable providing hands-on assistance while promoting dignity, privacy, choice, and as much independence as possible. Candidates should apply only if they are comfortable with the personal-care responsibilities listed below.

Responsibilities May Include

• Assist a moderately independent individual who is hospital bed- and wheelchair- bound. Staff must be able to lift the individual. Individual is verbal and has some anxiety.

• Support daily routines and encourage the individual to participate as independently as possible.

• Provide one-to-one supervision, companionship, and safety support.

• Assist with community participation, errands, appointments, and meaningful activities as applicable.

• Follow individualized care, behavioral, medical, and safety instructions within DSP scope and training.

• Observe for and promptly report changes or concerns.

• Complete required service documentation, timekeeping, and communication accurately and on time.
