Job summary

GlobalPoint HC is seeking a traveling OR scrub technologist in Hawaii. The role requires current Hawaii licensure by start and a minimum of two years scrub experience in a hospital setting.

Shifts run 0645–2315 with variability by department. Travelers are scheduled for 40 hours weekly, with potential 32 hours during holidays; call coverage is 24/7 with 1–2 calls weekly and up to two weekend calls per month. Scrub, turnover, and patient transport are core duties.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist with turnover cleaning.

• Scrub for procedures: General, Orthopedic, Vascular, Ophthalmic, Urology, ENT, Endoscopy, Robotic, Obstetrics, Gynecology.
• Attend to OR tech duties and sterilization as required.

Any traveler not currently in possession of an active State of HI license must apply upon acceptance of offer. Candidate must have Hawaii License by start of assignment. General job duties: Help with turn over cleaning Transport patients when needed Types of procedures required to independently scrub: General Orthopedic Vascular Ophthalmic Urology ENT Endoscopy Robotic Obstetrics Gynecology Minimum experience required: 2 years at minimum of scrubbing cases in a hospital setting Job Description: Shifts:

• we currently operate from 0645-2315, your shifts may be variable based on department needs
• applicants will be scheduled 40 hours a week, possibility of 32 hours if there is a holiday
• We cover call 24 hours a day 7 days a week, everyone is assigned call, on average 1-2x a week, plus up to 2 weekends a month. 20 minute call back time.

Bed size:

• We have 1-2 outpatient GI labs
• daily we have 1-2 rooms running simultaneously

Applicant will orient on day shift for up to a week or until manager s discretion Traveler must complete a minimum of 39 shifts during the duration of the contract if RTO (requested time off) is requested.
