Job summary

Byrne Electrical Specialists in Rockford, MI is seeking a Warehouse I - 1st Shift (7am-3:30pm) to enhance product workflow by organizing and maintaining warehouse conditions and ensuring continuous product flow to production lines. You will load/unload trucks, receive and store materials, operate a Hi-Lo forklift per safety requirements, and use Syteline for receiving.

A valid driver’s license is required; Hi-Lo license must be obtained within 6 months.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• Hi-Lo forklift license must be obtained within 6 months of employment.
• Experience with warehouse operations and basic inventory practices is required.
• Ability to adhere to FIFO and maintain accurate records.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks and maintain organization of the warehouse.
• Receive, unpack, label, store and organize raw materials for production.
• Operate Hi-Lo forklift per safety requirements and transport materials.
• Record packing slips in Syteline and monitor inventory levels.
• Maintain dock areas, manage trash and recycling, and support transfers between plants.
• Communicate needs for min/max materials and promote safe, productive teamwork.
