Job summary

Roskam Foods in Grand Rapids, Michigan, is seeking a full-time warehouse associate to join our distribution team. You will safely handle goods, operate a forklift, and move product to and from storage locations to support timely order fulfillment across our network.

The role requires standing for long periods and may involve overtime or weekend shifts as directed by management. You will load outbound orders, inspect trailers for safety and food-grade standards, and secure loaded trailers while

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse or forklift experience is required.
• Must be able to stand for long periods.
• Overtime, evenings or weekends may be required by management.

Responsibilities

• Performs all work task safely, accurately, and efficiently.
• Ability to meet standard pallet move performance rate.
• Inspects equipment prior to use.
• Moves product to and from storage locations.
• Loads outbound orders while verifying accuracy.
• Inspects trailers prior to loading, ensures trailers are safe and food grade.
• Responsible for securing loaded trailer while waiting for pickup.
• Utilizes scanning software to move product in real‑time.
• Performs warehouse cleaning duties including dusting, sweeping, floor scrubbing, etc.
• Occasionally charges or changes Hilo battery, participates in inventory counting and wraps or stacks product.
• Perform other duties as assigned, may be required to perform duties outside of their normal responsibilities from time to time, as needed.
