Position Title: Forklift Operator

Reports to: Shipping Supervisor

Key Responsibilities

• Operate material‑handling equipment and scanning software in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment to store and ship customer product safely, accurately, and efficiently.
• Meet standard pallet‑move performance rates.
• Inspect equipment prior to use and verify the safe, food‑grade condition of trailers before loading.
• Secure loaded trailers and manage the unloading process until pickup.
• Use scanning software to move product in real‑time and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Perform warehouse cleaning duties, including dusting, sweeping, floor scrubbing, and other general maintenance tasks.
• Occasionally charge or change Hilo battery.
• Participate in inventory counting, wrapping or stacking product.
• Complete other duties as assigned, with possible tasks outside normal responsibilities.

Required and Preferred Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (preferred).
• Previous warehouse or forklift experience.
• Ability to stand for long periods and work overtime, evenings, or weekends as directed.
• Previous stand‑up Hilo experience highly preferred.
• Prior experience working in a cold storage environment (preferred).
