Job summary

Monroechamber is hiring a Hi-Lo Forklift Operator for our North Kansas City facility. This is a 2nd shift role with hours 3:15pm-11:45pm, Monday through Friday, with potential training on the first shift.

Wage is $19.50 per hour, with a potential to hire for the right candidate. Responsibilities include unloading/loading trucks with materials using a Hi-Lo, moving materials around the warehouse, and preparing orders for processing.

Qualifications

• Previous Hi-Lo experience required.
• Ability to sit and stand for an entire shift.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• No cell phones allowed on warehouse floor.

Responsibilities

• Use Hi-Lo truck to unload/load trucks with materials
• Move materials around warehouse to prepare for orders
• Bring pallets to QI team for processing
• Safely and efficiently operate machinery and equipment as required
• Maintain clean, neat, and orderly work areas and operate in a manner that promotes safety

Hours: 3:15pm-11:45pm Monday-Friday (May have to train on 1st Shift 7:00am-3:30pm)

Location: North Kansas City, MO.

This is a potential to hire opportunity on 2nd shift.

• Maintain clean, neat, and orderly work areas and operate in a manner that promotes safety

Requirements

• Previous experience in manufacturing preferred
• Previous Hi-Lo experience required
• Ability to sit and stand for an entire shift
• Ability to bend and twist
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Must have great attendance
• Must return from breaks on time
• Must have good attention to detail and hand-to-eye coordination to distinguish defective items
• No cell phones allowed on warehouse floor (leave in locker or car)
