Job summary

Harmons Grocery in Utah seeks a Home Health & Beauty Associate for a full-time reduced schedule (30–36 hours weekly). Morning, afternoon shifts and weekends are required to meet customer needs in the Home Health and Beauty department.

You will receive, stock, rotate, and face products, verify pricing, and maintain inventory while delivering exceptional service to customers and helping Manager with ordering and displays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred; 1 year grocery or retail experience preferred
• Basic math and computer skills, including Microsoft Office
• Understanding of product rotation and inventory management
• Interest in Home Health and Beauty products and customer service
• Ability to interpret policies and procedures
• Strong organization and planning skills
• Clear communication with diverse groups
• Willingness to work weekends, evenings, and holidays

Responsibilities

• Follow store policies and procedures
• Maintain quality and freshness of products in Home Health & Beauty
• Ensure proper product assortment and inventory levels
• Verify pricing and signage accuracy, especially for ads
• Keep the store clean and presentable
• Provide excellent customer service to shoppers
• Receive, stock, and rotate products in department
• Manage displays and end-caps effectively
• Assist Manager with inventory and ordering based on sales
• Communicate with Manager and teammates regularly
• Ensure safety, sanitation, and productivity standards
• Support store operations as needed

FULL TIME REDUCED 30-36 HOURS PER WEEK! MORNING/AFTERNOON/WEEKENDS A MUST!

$15.00 - $18.50 PER HOUR

GENERAL PURPOSE:

The purpose of this position is to ensure the quality, freshness, and product assortment is maintained in the home, health, and beauty department. This person will be assisting and supporting the Home Health and Beauty Manager, receiving, stocking and rotating product, facing product, taking special orders, and providing exceptional customer service.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Follows established departmental and store policies and procedures
• Ensures the quality and freshness of all products and services provided by the home, health, and beauty department
• Responsible for maintaining the appropriate product assortment and inventory levels for the home, health, and beauty department
• Confirms pricing accuracy and signage for all products, paying particular attention to ad items
• Ensures the store is cleaned daily and meets the company standards for appearance
• Delivers excellent customer service to all customers
• Receives, stores, and stocks a wide variety of products for the home, health, and beauty department
• Pulls out of date product from the shelves
• Builds end-cap and other special product displays
• Assists Home Health and Beauty Manager with inventory and ordering product to meet the needs of the store based on past and projected sales
• Completes assigned tasks efficiently and in a timely manner
• Sets a professional and positive example to others
• Communicates openly and frequently with the Home Health and Beauty Manager
• Ensures company standards for safety, sanitation, and productivity are maintained
• Assists as needed to ensure the success of the store as a whole

MARGINIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Desired knowledge, skills, and abilities:
