Job summary

Dial-a-Nurse is currently hiring experienced professional caregivers to provide hourly and weekend care for clients in our service area. Caregivers will perform ADLs, offer companionship, and support families with dignity and respect.

The position offers part-time or full-time hours with flexible scheduling, plus benefits such as employee discounts and a referral program. CNA or HHA license is preferred; caregiving experience of at least 6 months is valued.

Qualifications

• 6 months caregiving experience preferred.
• CNA or HHA license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily tasks in a safe and professional manner (ADLs).
• Provide companionship, social and emotional support.
• Assist with personal care activities: hygiene, mobility, incontinence care, light housekeeping, feeding and meal prep.
• Maintain safety and client enjoyment at all times.
• Provide transportation to appointments if needed.
• Document completion of tasks in detail.
• Report changes in client condition or behavior to supervisor.
• Alert Care Manager/Staffing Coordinator of major changes or incidents during shifts.

We are currently hiring experienced professional caregivers to provide Hourly and Weekend care for our clients in Charlotte County.

Job Types and Availability

Our Caregivers are responsible for the physical care and emotional support of our clients who may no longer be able to take care of themselves due to illness, injury, surgery, or disability. The ideal candidate must be able to care for our clients and their property with dignity, patience, compassion, and respect. This person will always encourage and remain empathetic to the clients

Essential Responsibilities

• Complete daily tasks in a safe and professional manner (ADLs)
• Actively engage with each client by providing companionship, social & emotional support
• Assist with personal care activities to include: hygiene, mobility assistance, incontinence care, light housekeeping, feeding and meal preparation
• Keep order, safety, and client enjoyment top of mind at all times
• Provide transportation to and from appointments if needed
• Detailed documentation of completion of tasks
• Report changes in the client’s physical condition, mental capability or behavior
• Alert Care Manager / Staffing Coordinator of major changes or incidents during your shift
