Job summary

Parker Jewish Institute for Health Care and Rehabilitation on-site in the Queens/Long Island border is hiring Home Health Aides (HHA) for full-time or part-time day shifts (7:00am-3:15pm) or evening shifts (3:00pm-11:15pm). We offer a supportive, patient-centered environment with a strong staff-to-resident ratio and opportunities to contribute to meaningful care.

Qualifications

Parker Jewish Institute for Health Care and Rehabilitation is seeking full time and part time Home Health Aides (HHAs) who are looking for a consistent schedule within a professional, caring and team-based environment. We would like to speak with those with a passion for working with seniors! You'll be patient, courteous and tactful with residents, staff, family members and visitors.

A vital and important part of the team, you will oversee health care tasks, personal hygiene services, housekeeping tasks and other related support services essential to the resident's health, happiness & wellbeing.

What We're looking for:

• Current Home Health Aide (HHA) Certificate in the state of New York
• Availability to work weekends and holidays as needed
• Prior experience working as an HHA; prior experience working in a nursing home or assisted living facility a plus
