Responsibilities

• Provide personal hygiene assistance, including showering, bathing, dressing, and eating for elderly patients or those recovering from surgeries and injuries.
• Help clients with prescribed medication and assist with ambulation.
• Assist with mobility around the house or outside, such as doctor’s appointments and walks.
• Assist with personal care, hygiene, meal planning and preparation, and physical therapy exercises.
• Complete client shopping or accompany them to shopping trips.
• Perform housekeeping duties and report any unusual incidents.
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency.
• Offer activities essential for daily living, including serving meals and other tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting and eager to learn new skills.
• Validated ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner.
• Available to work different shifts, including nights and/or weekends.
• Willingness to enforce health and safety standards.
• Supportive and compassionate.
• High School Diploma or equivalent, or experience as a Caregiver, CNA or HHA, or completion of a CNA program.
