Responsibilities

• Provide personal care skills including bathing, grooming, oral care, dressing, toileting, and recording vital signs as directed by a nursing supervisor.
• Assist residents with daily tasks such as feeding, meal preparation, linen changes, light housekeeping, transportation to doctor appointments, indoor/outdoor activities, and shopping.
• Follow the patient’s individual care plan and maintain accurate documentation.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• AHCA Level 2 Background check.
• A valid HHA Certificate or Certified Nursing Assistant License in good standing with the State of FL.
• CPR certification.
• Completion of CEU’s in Alzheimer’s (2 hours), HIV/AIDS, and Medication Management.
• Negative TB skin test or chest X‑ray.
• Physical Examination clearance.
• Minimum one (1) year of experience in home health or nursing assistance.
• Valid Florida driver’s license in good standing.
• Self‑directed with the ability to work independently.
• Empathy and strong communication skills in English.

• Confidentiality and security of client information.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs.
