Job summary

The Bristal is seeking compassionate Resident Service Assistants/Home Health Aides to provide hands-on care for residents in a premier senior living environment. You will be a friendly, respectful presence delivering personalized support to enhance daily life and safety.

Full-time schedule includes at least one weekend shift per week; English proficiency required, and prior dementia care experience is a plus. Competitive, supportive team culture and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• CNA, PCA or HHA certification (or equivalent).
• Experience with Alzheimer's/dementia is a plus.
• Must speak/read English.
• Geriatric population experience preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and establish care routines.
• Maintain calm, patient and respectful demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Escort residents to meals and recreational activities.
• Support residents' physical, emotional and psycho-social well-being.
• Assist in Wellness area to ensure safety and comfort.
• Follow policies and directives of the Nurse Supervisor.

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Resident Service Assistants/Home Health Aides with a skillset and a heart for helping residents make the most of each day. In this position, you’ll be a friendly and familiar face to our residents, providing hands‑on care in a respectful and dignified manner. Your role is essential to the care and safety of residents who choose to call The Bristal home. The loving care you bring to the services you provide is fundamental to the quality of life and the general wellbeing of our residents every day.

Additional responsibilities include:

• Assisting residents manage Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
• Escorting residents to meals and recreational activities
• Supporting residentsin achieving their highest level of physical, emotional and psycho-social well-being
• Helping out as needed in the Wellness areato ensure the safety, comfort and wellbeing of our residents
• Following all policies and procedures, and adhering to the instructions ofthe Nurse Shift Supervisor andthe Director of Wellness

Full-time schedule includes one weekend shift per week (Tues–Sat or Sun–Thurs).

Qualifications:

• Certified Nursing Assistant, Personal Care Attendant or Home Health Aide
• Experience assisting those with Alzheimer's disease and dementia is a plus
• Must be able to speak and read in English
• Previous experience with geriatricpopulation preferred, providing assistance with ADLs
• Ability to follow instructions and establish personal care routines
• Basic understanding of dementia; patience and professionalism in redirecting residents
• Ability to adjust todifferent personality typesand situations in positive ways
• Must always be reliable, caring and gentle in touch and demeanor
• Maintain an abiding respect for the elderly and remain calm at all times
