Job summary

Assisting Hands - West Broward invites compassionate HHA/CNA caregivers who are bilingual in English and Spanish to join our team in Florida. You will work under RN direction to provide basic personal care and support to clients in their homes.

Responsibilities include companionship, meal prep, light housekeeping, transportation assistance, and help with errands, while maintaining dignity and independence. Hours vary by assignment; non-exempt, hourly role.

Qualifications

• Must have formal HHA training or CNA certification as required by state law.
• At least 1 year of experience in home care or long-term care is preferred.
• CPR certification and health clearances required.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and assistance with transportation and errands.
• Assist with personal care under the direction of a RN and according to the Plan of Care.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain client dignity and independence.

Future Opening: HHA/ CNA - Bilingual Spanish Caregiver Desired!

Description:This position provides custodial and personal care services to clients that contract with Assisting Hands for services under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN) and in compliance with the Plan of Care designated by the RN.

Education:Home Health Aide or Certified Nursing Assistant

Qualifications: Individual must have successfully completed and provide evidence of formal home health aide training orcertification as a Nursing Assistant per state law and regulation. One (1) year experience in the home or long-term care setting is preferred.

Requirements:CPR Certification Card, TB Test, CEU's and Level 2 live-scan criminal background check. Bilingual in English and Spanish language desired.

Reports to:Director of Nursing

Duties Include:Companionship, cooking, light housekeeping, and assistance with transportation, errands, and personal care.

Hours: Dependent on assignment. Assisting Hands does not guarantee hours.

FLSA Status:Non-exempt, hourly
