Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care is urgently seeking a male HHA – Home Health Aide to care for a 28-year-old male with a spinal cord injury in the Maryland area. This role emphasizes compassionate in-home support and professional caregiving to improve quality of life.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year work experience.
• Current HHA or CNA license.

Responsibilities

• Activities of daily living
• Light housekeeping
• Bathing
• Grooming
• Toileting
• Nail care
• Range of motion / exercises
• Transfers / use of mechanical lifting devices
• Oral feeding
• Vital sign checks: temperature, pulse, respiration
• Home Management Tasks: laundry, meal preparation, bed making etc.
• Assisting with ambulation
• Medication assistance
