Job summary

Assisting Hands Home Care is seeking a compassionate Home Health Aide or Certified Nursing Assistant to assist clients in their homes under the direction of an RN and in accordance with the Plan of Care. The role includes companionship, light housekeeping, meal preparation, and transportation support.

Requirements include formal HHA training or CNA certification per state law, CPR, a TB test, CEUs, and a Level 2 live-scan background check. Prior experience in home or long-term care is preferred.

Qualifications

• Formal home health aide training or certification as a Nursing Assistant per state law/regulation.
• One year experience in home or long-term care setting preferred.

Description

This position provides custodial and personal care services to clients that contract with Assisting Hands for services under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN) and in compliance with the Plan of Care designated by the RN.

Education

Home Health Aide or Certified Nursing Assistant

Qualifications

Individual must have successfully completed and provide evidence of formal home health aide training orcertification as a Nursing Assistant per state law and regulation. One (1) year experience in the home or long-term care setting is preferred.
