Job summary

Senior Care at Home in Florida is seeking Male HHA/CNA caregivers to provide one-on-one in-home care across Martin County and Port St. Lucie. If you are compassionate and dependable, we’d love to meet you!

Locations include Martin County & Port St. Lucie. Employment types: Full-Time & Part-Time. Shifts: Days, Evenings, Overnights, and Weekends. Pay: $16–$18 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.

Qualifications

• Male HHA or CNA certifications and inservices are required.
• Home care/healthcare experience preferred.
• Compassionate, dependable and professional.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver’s license preferred and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass Level II Background Screening.
• CPR Certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with ADLs, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, lifting and mobility.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding if needed.
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Assist with transportation to appointments and errands (when applicable).
• Observe and report changes in the client’s condition.
• Follow individualized care plans and agency policies.
• Promote dignity, safety, comfort, and independence for every client.
