Location: Partridge Green, RH13 8RA
Job Type: Full-time
Schedule: 39-hour week, Monday - Thursday (8:00am-4:30pm) Friday (8:00am-3:30pm)

Job Description

An overview of the role:

• Delivering steel and goods on a HGV vehicle, ensuring the correct goods arrive in excellent condition and to scheduled times.
• Providing excellent customer service and being a good representative of the Company
• Ensure all relevant paperwork is completed daily (e.g. tacho, daily checks & delivery tickets)
• Carry out general maintenance to vehicles (e.g. greasing, fluid levels) and ensure cleanliness of vehicle
• Support the operations of the branch yard when not needed for driving

Who we are looking for:

• Friendly and positive attitude
• Previous experience of driving an HGV is required
• Up to date CPC qualification is required
• Previous experience of working in the Construction/Steel industry is preferred but not essential
• Previous forklift operation experience is preferred but not essential
• All our lorries have Hiabs with full training given to the right candidate
• Hiab licence preferred but not essential as training will be given

Experience:

• Construction industry:1 year (Preferred)
• HGV Driving: 1 year (Required)
• Hiab License: 1 year (Preferred)
• CPC (Driver Certificate of Professional Competence) (Required)
