HGV Class 1 Day Driver Needed for Immediate Start in Pineham, Northampton

Pure Staff is recruiting for an HGV Class 1 Day Driver to work day shifts on a Monday to Friday pattern, earning £17.00 per hour.

Role Details:

• Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday
• Pay Rate: £17.00 per hour (PAYE only, excludes holiday pay which is paid separately)
• Start Times: Between 06:00-09:00
• Shift Length: Up to 10-12 hours, in accordance with tachograph law

Requirements:

• Valid HGV C+E (Class 1) License
• Minimum 2 years' experience
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Clean License (no more than 6 points, no TT, TS, MS, DR, DD codes)

Responsibilities:

• Trunking and store deliveries from RDC
• Assisting with unloading (handball involved)
• Cage deliveries
• Performing daily vehicle checks
• Maintaining professionalism with customers
• Wearing PPE (safety boots and hi-vis)

Additional Information:

On-site induction, driving assessment, and drug & alcohol tests are required. Candidates must pass all three to be considered.
