Job description

Our client (a world leading hedge fund) seeks an Algo Trading Systems Engineer to join their Trading and Research Infrastructure team.

Responsibilities:
- Manage the deployment, maintenance, and monitoring of servers, networking devices, data storage systems, and other hardware components
-Design and implement scheduling mechanisms
- Design, implement, and manage the ongoing operation of clustered file systems
-Gather metrics and conduct data mining analysis
-Maximize system and network performance for latency-critical and high-throughput applications.


Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree in computer science or a related engineering discipline is mandatory
  • Minimum three years of hands-on experience in the development of systematic trading systems, utilizing languages such as Python, Golang, Rust, or similar
  • Proficiency in working with Linux-based systems is expected
