Description

Position Summary

The Seasonal Event Staff Member plays a key role in creating memorable and seamless experiences for members and guests during Club-hosted events, including weddings, holiday gatherings, après-ski socials, private dinners, and large-scale club functions. With a spirit of hospitality and professionalism, Event Staff support the execution of service before, during, and after events in coordination with the Food & Beverage and Events teams.

This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy working in a dynamic, member-focused setting with a premium standard of service. Training is provided, and enthusiasm, teamwork, and flexibility are essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare event spaces according to detailed layouts and timelines (tables, décor, place settings, signage, etc.)
  • Greet and assist members and guests with a warm, professional demeanor
  • Serve food and beverages efficiently and in accordance with service standards
  • Provide support for dinners, buffets, passed hors d’oeuvres, and bar service
  • Maintain cleanliness and presentation of event areas throughout service
  • Assist with event set-up, transitions, and post-event breakdown, including moving furniture and resetting spaces
  • Communicate effectively with Event Managers, culinary staff, and other team members to ensure coordinated service
  • Adhere to club policies, uniform standards, and health and safety protocols
Qualifications

  • Prior experience in hospitality, banquets, or events preferred but not required
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Friendly, professional attitude and appearance
  • Ability to remain calm and gracious in fast-paced environments
  • Able to stand or walk for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
