IEEE is seeking an Associate Historian for a full‑time temporary position to conduct independent historical research and create accessible content for public and academic audiences. The role reports to the Director of Heritage Programs and supports outreach to IEEE audiences and related projects.

The ideal candidate will have a Master’s degree or higher in history or related field; 2–4 years of postgraduate experience is preferred, with Ph.D. in history or related field preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Content Development & Research: research and develop historical content for projects and outreach; supports IEEE History & Heritage programs.
• Outreach & Stakeholder Engagement: assist in publicizing historical programs through newsletters and channels; build relationships in the professional history community.
