Job summary

Grand Portage National Monument is seeking an Heritage Center Housekeeper to perform general cleaning of monument restrooms, buildings, and grounds. You will assist with minor maintenance, clean and maintain historic furnishings, and ensure restrooms are sanitized and well-stocked.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, or 1–2 years related experience. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and have a valid driver's license; background check and pre-employment drug testing are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or 1–2 years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of training and experience.

Responsibilities

• General cleaning of monument restrooms, buildings, grounds and minor maintenance duties.
• Wash windows, walls and fixtures; sweep and oil floors; dust and wax historic furnishings.
• Clean, sanitize and deodorize restrooms; replace light bulbs and consumable supplies.
