Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience with livestock handling helpful.
• Ability to perform hard physical labor.
• Strong teamwork commitment.
• Willingness to shower daily.
• Ability to follow instructions in standardized settings.
• Able to work ~48 hours per week; shifts may vary.
• Weekend, evening, and holiday work required.
• On-call for emergencies (power outages, staffing).
• Good interpersonal skills in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Feed, waters, vaccinate, and perform general animal husbandry tasks.
• Move animals and maintain efficient animal flows.
• Sanitize and wash farm areas with high-pressure equipment.
• Process piglets: medications, castration, docking tails, ear notching.
• Maintain production records.
• Follow SOPs and training guides.
• Assist with facility and equipment maintenance.
• Work in a safe, compliant environment.
