- Seeking a compassionate and skilled Hepatologist to join our thriving Gastroenterology practice in Waterville, Maine.
- This outpatient-only position involves joining a dynamic GI team consisting of 5 GI physicians and 10 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs).
- Dedicated to providing exceptional care to patients throughout the vibrant Kennebec Valley region, this role is ideal for those seeking a rewarding practice with a desirable work-life balance.
- Provide expert outpatient consultation, diagnosis, management, and treatment of liver diseases, including hepatitis, cirrhosis, liver cancer, fatty liver disease, and liver failure.
- Collaborate closely with our established team of gastroenterologists and advanced practice providers to deliver comprehensive, integrated patient care.
- Interpret diagnostic imaging and laboratory results pertinent to hepatology practice.
- Educate patients and their families on disease management, lifestyle changes, and preventive health strategies related to liver health.
- No Call Required: No weekend or holiday hours; strictly outpatient practice.
- Predictable Schedule: 36 clinical patient-care hours per week and 4 hours reserved for administrative duties.
- Collaborative, supportive team environment with experienced gastroenterology physicians and APPs.
