Director of Hepatology
The Division of Gastroenterology at Los Angeles General Medical Center is seeking a Gastroenterologist - Director of Hepatology. The individual will take on a leadership role to redesign and optimize ambulatory and hospital care for patients with chronic liver disease in one of the largest public hospitals and medical training centers in the United States. The hepatology program at Los Angeles General Medical Center has a long, rich, and distinguished history with an international reputation for its contribution to modern hepatology by giants in the field including Drs. Telfer B. Reynolds and Allan Redeker. While working alongside hepatologist at University of Southern California, the individual will be expected to provide ambulatory care, facilitate referral to local transplant centers, attend on the inpatient hepatology service, perform routine endoscopic procedures, conduct clinical research, and assist with teaching of fellows and residents. Individual will be assigned non-clinical time to perform administrative role and receive appointment at Keck School of Medicine of USC.
