Job Description

Mount Sinai South Nassau is seeking a Hepatologist! The Division of Gastroenterology & Hepatology at Mount Sinai South Nassau (MSSN) is expanding and looking for a Gastroenterologist with a focus on Hepatology.

We are recruiting a full-time Hepatologist to provide high-quality, personalized Hepatology care in inpatient and outpatient settings. Our faculty enjoy diverse careers in clinical care, education, and research. The ideal candidate will evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients requiring Hepatology consultation, including GI procedures with a focus on Hepatology.

Responsibilities

1. Assess and treat liver disease in inpatient and outpatient settings.
2. Work effectively within interdisciplinary teams.
3. Contribute to clinical care, research, teaching, and community outreach.
4. Identify strategic opportunities and implement quality improvements.
5. Teach GI fellows, residents, and students.

Qualifications

• Medical Degree from an accredited university.
• NY Medical License or ability to obtain one.
• Board Certified or Eligible in Gastroenterology.
• Completed an accredited Gastroenterology Fellowship.
• Advanced Hepatology Fellowship (Preferred).
