Job summary
Rutgers New Jersey Medical School in Newark seeks qualified candidates for full-time Assistant or Associate Professor of Medicine in the Division of Liver Disease and Transplant Hepatology. Ideal candidates are board eligible/certified in Internal Medicine with at least one year of advanced training in liver disease and hepatology.
Responsibilities include inpatient and outpatient hepatology consults, clinical teaching of fellows and residents, contributing to the division's research mission,
Qualifications
- Board eligible/certified in Internal Medicine with ≥1 year of advanced training in liver disease and transplant hepatology.
- MD/DO required.
Responsibilities
- Provide inpatient and outpatient hepatology consultation services.
- Teach and mentor hepatology fellows and medical residents.
- Support the division's educational needs and contribute to research initiatives.
